The Story
Deep in the woods, stories don’t stay still.
This year’s East retreat invites you into a quiet, lantern-lit corner of the world where knowledge is alive, history has a way of shifting, and not every truth wants to be found all at once. Something old has stirred—subtle at first, then unmistakable—and its influence is being felt across the forest paths, the tavern tables, and the tales people tell.
Over four immersive days, you’ll take on quests shaped by mystery, curiosity, and the strange tension between what’s written down and what’s remembered. You won’t be handed answers. You’ll uncover them—together—through exploration, clever choices, and the stories you help shape along the way.
Come ready to question what you know, trust your instincts, and follow the light… wherever it leads.

Jessi
Game Master
Jessica runs tabletop games that feel alive, reactive, and unpredictable enough to keep players on their toes. She believes the story belongs to the whole table, not just the person behind the screen, and leans into whatever direction players take, whether heroic, chaotic, or somewhere in between. Her style blends strong narrative moments, engaging combat, and humor, creating spaces where choices matter and consequences unfold naturally. No two sessions play out the same, and that’s exactly the goal. Outside of gaming, Jessica works in tech and runs a small plant business, bringing that same balance of structure and adaptability into everything she does. At her table, the goal isn’t perfection. It’s creating moments that feel real, memorable, and worth talking about long after the session ends. touch.

Her tables lean collaborative, a little chaotic, and are designed to make both new and experienced players feel comfortable stepping in and taking up space. She gravitates toward character-focused storytelling with elements of mystery, tension, and the unexpected, and loves incorporating physical props to bring her worlds to life.
By day, she works in corporate legal operations, and outside of the table runs a small microbakery from her home, baking breads and creating things with the same care and creativity she brings to her games. She also actively uses her platform as a DM to encourage women and femme-presenting folk to take up space in traditionally male-dominated gaming spaces.
